I was pleased to visit the Quinte & District Association of Realtors today to present a Small Businesses, Big Hearts Award on behalf of the province. The award honours small businesses who have stepped forward to show generosity and community spirit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joining me, from left, are executive director Lisa Comerford, president Don McColl, and past-president Heather Plane. For more information, see my news releases page.
I was pleased to share news that Ontario's Reconnect Festival and Events grant program will provide $27,607 to the Belleville Downtown District Business Improvement Area Association for its Enchanted and Festival of Lights programming. Visit Victoria Park and the historic downtown to see lighting displays and live entertainment and stay to support local businesses. You can also take a pedicab ride as BDBIA executive director Marijo Cuerrier and marketing officer Kelsey Moniz and I did this week. For more, see my news releases page.
